Vault Matter is a product of Componera (Pty) Ltd. On a matter, the law firm is the controller of the case information and Componera is the processor. Railway hosts the database in Amsterdam, the Netherlands.

What this website stores

Creating a firm stores the firm name, the admin's name, the email address, and a hash of the password. The password itself is not stored.

A platform subscription stores the purchased seat count, the monthly fee, and the Paystack customer and subscription references. Card numbers stay with Paystack. This website does not store them.

The website does not store matter files. Case documents stay in the firm and client apps, encrypted for the people who may read them.

Sign-in

Sign-in sets an HTTP-only cookie named vault_matter_session. It holds the session token only. The cookie is removed when you sign out, and the session ends after eight hours.

Access, correction, and deletion

To ask for a copy, a correction, or deletion of the personal information this website holds about you, use the contact page. Matter files are handled by the law firm that controls that matter.
